Logistics integrations with Shopify, WooCommerce, PrestaShop and Amazon: frequently asked questions

How does an online store connect to the logistics provider’s warehouse?

Through an integration between your platform and the warehouse software: an app, API keys or a webservice, depending on the store. Once connected, paid orders flow into the warehouse on their own, the real stock goes back to your store and the tracking number is added to the order so the buyer receives it.

Do I need a developer to integrate my store with the warehouse?

Not if you sell on Shopify, WooCommerce, PrestaShop or Amazon: the connection takes minutes from within the store itself, with no development or custom plugins. You only need someone technical if your store is custom-built or you want to connect your ERP via API, and even then the documentation is public and there is a test environment.

What if my sales platform is not among the integrations?

There are two routes. If it is a custom store or an ERP, it connects via API: you send orders and inbounds and read stock. If it is a marketplace that feeds its orders into your Shopify or WooCommerce store, or works with Sendcloud, its orders come in that way with nothing else to install.
