Selling across Europe from Spain does not require a warehouse abroad: from Córdoba a parcel reaches France or Portugal in 2 to 3 working days and Germany or Italy in 3 to 4. What it does require is VAT (one-stop shop), shipping methods per country and returns sorted before switching on the languages.

Above €10,000 in sales to consumers in other EU countries, you charge the buyer’s country VAT; the OSS scheme lets you declare it all in Spain. Your accountant activates it; your store charges the right VAT per country.
A shipping method per country or zone, with the carrier that best reaches each, tracking in the buyer’s language and a clear international return policy (who pays the return). The UK and Switzerland are exports: commercial invoice and customs.
The same way as domestic ones: European buyers have the same 14 days to withdraw, so the difference lies in the return shipping. Decide beforehand whether they or you pay for it, publish it in every language and have the parcel come back to your warehouse, where it is checked with photos and you decide whether it goes back into stock.
It depends on weight, dimensions, country and service (standard, express or pickup point), and it varies quite a lot between carriers. The practical approach is to compare the price per country and weight band with your real volume; if you work with a logistics provider, ask for the shipping rate per destination alongside the handling rate.
No: they are exports outside the European Union and are not covered by the VAT One-Stop Shop. Every shipment carries a commercial invoice with value, description, tariff code and country of origin, and may incur duties and taxes. Check with your adviser who pays them and whether you need to register there, and keep that data stored per SKU before switching the country on.
