Announce campaign inbounds with dates. Review the SKUs you are running out of at your sales pace. Tell your provider about the peak with your forecast. Confirm extra cut-offs and collections with carriers. Publish the last date to receive before Christmas by country. Prepare the "where is my order?" reply with tracking. And have January returns resolved with clear rules.
By October at the latest: campaign stock must be received and put away before November, and your provider needs your daily order forecast to plan staff, packaging and collections. If you are switching provider, do not leave it until November; onboarding takes a week and it is worth running smoothly before the peak.
It depends on the destination: work it out by subtracting each zone’s delivery time plus a safety margin, because carriers are busier in December. Shipping from Córdoba, Spain, Portugal and Europe receive in 24 hours with GLS, CTT Express or UPS Express (2–4 days with the economy service); publish a cut-off date per zone on your website.
Take the daily sales of your best-selling SKUs, multiply by the growth you expect during the campaign and add the days your supplier takes to restock. During the peak, check the real stock in your provider’s portal every day, not just on your website, and announce each replenishment with a date so it is put away as soon as it arrives.
